I can't help but
05 Sep 2008

I can't help but laugh at my sister's ultra blur status.

I mean.

She went to school on monday when there wasn't classes.
She went for ballet only to find she was the only one there.
She always oversleep. Always.

OH and the latest news today: She actually brought home the remote control Litao always uses to control the cd player. I bet he's in a fit.

I don't want to study for geogggg. Only vegetation chapter (which i've been sleeping in lectures during that topic) left!

Then there's Chem. Actually I already have notes for it. But its all doodled, scribbled, messy, torn, unorganised and i dont like the fonts nor the presentation for it. I just like the pure content. So meaning I have to type it out. Maybe I'll do geog another day..

Chem: type out notes on Salt preparation (NO, NOT ACID BASES SALTS. I am so sick of it!), and bonding.

I think there's no xujie tomorrow. I THINK. Thank god. One Saturday you don't have to wake up early is heaven. Then there's dance in the afternoon. Must. Get. Work. Done.

Okay so Saturday must do... AMATH. Right. Amath.

Emath I'm pretty much more or less secured. It's pretty easy and straight-forward, I guess.

Oh. almost forgot SS. Guess I'll do all the mindmaps and summary of all the topics. Not that bad. Then there's holiday homework.

*lets out a massive groan*

Go, Serena, go. :(

Three more days
05 Sep 2008

Dammit, the school holidays (or rather jail term) is almost over. I have yet to finish revising one FULL subject, let alone 8 subjects. Why must EOYs be so early. Why why why why why. Why must they throw us tests when we're midway revising already. It's so annoying. You can't study a particular subject. You have to study THAT subject. Why? Because you're given a graded test the next day. GRRR.

And whats with the holiday homework. Like as if we don't have enough studying to do already.

Bleach. I hate typing out Geog notes. There's so much info you have to stuff into your head afterwards.

So many distractions. I wish I could bring my laptop to the library or something and do my work there. My dad would kill me instantly and have the laptop confiscated and internet stopped and the list goes on so I guess I'll just have to wait till I go to poly and HAVE to bring a laptop to school. But then it kind of totally defeats the purpose.

Lucky Crestians.

I hate geog.

No scratch that.

I hate studying for geog.

Sing for Absolution
03 Sep 2008

Lips are turning blue
A kiss that can't renew
I only dream of you
My beautiful

Tip toe to your room
A starlight in the gloom
I only dream of you
And you never knew

Sing for absolution
I will be singing
And falling from your grace
ooh

There's nowhere left to hide
In no one to confide
The truth burns deep inside
And will never die

Lips are turning blue
A kiss that can't renew
I only dream of you
My beautiful

Sing for absolution
I will be singing
Falling from your grace

Sing for absolution
I will be singing
Falling from your grace

Our wrongs remain unrectified
And our souls won't be exhumed

supposed to be studying
01 Sep 2008

Ugh I really should get down to studying, but just 2 to 3 hours before I was reading a book on the massage chair and ended up falling alseep and god that felt soooo good.

I feel like going to sleep now. Xujie tmr. A good excuse to get out of the house and study after lunch. Like, outside--minimal distractions like snack food (which I cannot pair with studying) and teevee and the laptop which has internet access and the guitar and plus all 33 zig markers happily smiling at me, tempting me to draw bullshit fashion sketches.

Forget it. It's 8pm and no way am I going off to study till like 10 that's crazy. I'm off to eat youghurt.

liar liar pants on fire
01 Sep 2008

Mm, I should really be doing my homework now, but I'm doing random sketches using my 4 new clean colors.

Must be the TeenVogue magazine that I've been tearing out this morning.

To-do List in the holidays.

1. Study Math, Amath, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and SS.
2. Complete competition entries
3. Wallpaper my room with the TeenVOGUE tearouts.

33 ZIG clean colors in total and a fresh stash of magazine tearouts. An awesome start to the September holidays.

Now, if only I could finish all the cramming and get EOYS done and over with...

Put on your Sunday clothes
There's lots of world out there
Get out the brilliante and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the evening air.

wireless@sg
31 Aug 2008

Bored bored bored.

I'm using my dad's ultratiny laptop with this tiny keyboard where I keep typing errors because it's too small to fit all my fingers typing at a really fast speed.

wireless@sg isn't too bad. I'm in burger king and the internet speed is fairly good. Like it isnt laggy. Or maybe it's because there's not exactly a lot of people in Burger King, let alone a lot of people surfing using laptops.

Anyway outside in cine they keep blasting Avril Lavigne songs. Must be the The Worst Damn Tour coming up. Her whiny voice is polluting my ears. Ugh.

And after this I'm probably off to Kino and then watching Wall-e.

Again :)

27 Aug 2008

Okay. So I was playing Solitaire for an hour till I actually completed and won a SINGLE game. And then decided to better finish my AMath Homework.

And great, I'm stuck in trying to find the frikken' perimeter when i have one teeter and one radius value. Great. (Not like you're supposed to get two radius values but, I only have 2 values to work with!)

And off I go to playing Solitaire. Again.

I feel happy and witty and gay!
22 Aug 2008

I feel happy today.

Actually, I feel happy every time I buy a new album, even though it gets a huge burn in my pocket.

Today instead of the single album I usually buy, I bought two albums, adding the total number of albums I have to a stunning FIVE albums in total. (The albums my sister bought long, long ago did NOT count.) Quite little compared to what I've seen in Mitch's CD rack. Yeap. I'm getting addicted to buying albums. I guess it's kind of the feeling where you feel a pinch of guilt every time you download a song or get someone to send a song for you. Buying the album makes me feel good--that I'm actually truely supporting the bands I love.

Anyway, Christine and I went to HMV today with five albums in mind--but I could only choose two maximum. Absolution (MUSE), Origin of Symmetry (MUSE), A Rush Of Blood To The Head (COLDPLAY), The best of Radiohead (RADIOHEAD) and Narrow Stairs (DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE). Absolution was my first choice, becuase two weeks ago I saw 3 Muse albums on sale (Absolution, Origin of Symmetry and Showbiz). I bought Showbiz last week, and now I understand why critics said that Muse's earlier songs sound like Radiohead's. (with comparison of Showbiz and OK Computer) The whole guitar riffs and stuff. I wanted A Rush Of Blood To The Head so badly, because I already have songs from Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of the older albums. I have this thing for older albums--I prefer them to their latest one. Becuase it's like their original album that made them so big today.

So we couldn't find A Rush Of Blood To The Head. Was planning to only get Absolution until Christine and I browsed through the rack of CDs on Summer Sale. And we found A Rush Of Blood To The Head right there. Yep. So now that album is sitting beside my laptop in front of me :) $14.95 for Absolution and $18.95 for A Rush Of Blood To The Head was absolutely worth it. (Bad pun, sorry.) I'm starting to like Coldplay a lot.

List of Albums I'm still eyeing (in order of preference):

1. Viva la Vida (COLDPLAY)
2. Pull the Pin (STEREOPHONICS)
3. The Best of Radiohead (RADIOHEAD)
4. Origin of Symmetry (MUSE)
5. Narrow Stairs (DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE)

And I'm still saving up $97 for that entire Adobe CS3 set. Plus new earphones.

$) $( $O

oh, and featuring Mitch in the new Season 3 of.. GOSSIP GIRL!

I wonder how the filming would go if that would be the case. Like, San Jose, California and Manhattan, New York, are of places directly opposite each other on 2 ends of America.

In other words, very, very, very far apart.
